I am a licensed mental health therapist based in Florida, with over 12 years of dedicated

experience in the behavioral health field. Throughout my career, I have assumed

diverse leadership and mentorship roles within both the private and nonprofit sectors.

 

My expertise primarily lies in substance use disorders, and I am recognized as a subject

matter expert in this critical area.

My educational journey began with a master's degree from Troy University in Troy,

Alabama, and I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida

in Tampa, focusing on psychology and mental health counseling.

From a young age, I have possessed a natural inclination to assist others, driven by a

profound fascination with the intricacies of human emotions and behaviors, both within

myself and in others. Choosing this profession has allowed me to facilitate positive

transformations in people's lives by providing understanding and actionable steps.

My own life's challenging events and experiences have significantly contributed to my

growth as a therapist. I consider myself fortunate to have had enriching personal and

professional opportunities, enabling me to give back by supervising mental health

counseling interns and leading teams towards achieving their professional aspirations.

Beyond my professional endeavors, my greatest source of fulfillment is being a mother

and wife. I wholeheartedly embrace the joys of life while prioritizing self-care, ensuring

that I can effectively support my patients and supervisees on their unique journeys to

well-being and personal growth.
